Remote consultation kiosk

Client & the Business Case:
A Technology medical processing company.The need was to enable patients to have remote medical consultations and online medicine purchase. Video calls were required to consult an online medical practitioner and integration with a special purpose patent pending booth (and medical devices) was required.

Solution:
A special purpose booth with all the necessary hardware interfaces was developed. Chimera started its work by integrating the medical devices to its application. Later video conferencing facility was integrated providing a face to face Tele Presence feeling for the patient and the doctor. The software was further extended to provide the doctor the flexibility to control the devices (found in the patient booth) remotely. The application currently integrates with credit card readers to enable the patients pay for their consultation. The booth currently provides a convenient way for the patients to consult doctor remotely at their convenience from their own locations.
