Client & Business Case:
One of the world’s largest Decision Sciences and Analytics firms helps companies institutionalize data-driven decision making and harness Big Data. The customer needed a robust, efficient and automated workflow based solution which would eliminate manual processing in travel reimbursements extended to their employees as their office were spread across the globe and frequent travel by employees posed difficulties in managing the entire travel process.

Solution:
Chimera’s solution was a SharePoint portal that employees could accessible anywhere, and anytime. Travelling personnel could access the application, submit their request and follow up on status and plan their travel online. This automated the travel process which was being manually performed in the company. As a result, the customer’s end-user employees achieved significant increases in productivity with time spent on manually checking on reimbursement status completely eliminated.
