Telecom operators, on average, lose at least 1-2 percent of their revenue because of network inefficiencies, a focus on metrics that do not ensure orders translate into cash, and lack of visibility into the customer-to-cash cycle. Initiatives that are designed to solve these problems often focus on the symptoms and do not address the underlying process and technology issues that cause revenue leakage. Revenue Assurance is a process to detect and correct the revenue leakage, to avoid/ minimize the opportunity lost.
